Online Exam Requirements - Enterprise Transport Training

For online exams, you will need the following:

To be located within the UK.
A valid form of photo ID (Driver’s Licence or Passport). You must show this to the camera at the start of each exam.
A laptop or PC with a working camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. Mobile phones and tablets cannot be used.
A quiet, private room where you can complete the exam without interruptions. Background noise such as music or television is not permitted.
At the start of the exam, you must complete a 360-degree scan of the room with your device’s camera. The purpose of the scan is to confirm that you are alone and that no prohibited materials are present.
A single-screen setup. Additional monitors will prevent the exam software from working.
All other programmes and windows on your device closed before the exam starts.
To remain facing the screen and in full view of the webcam at all times.
No headphones, earbuds, or listening equipment.
No phones or other electronic communication devices.
All watches must be removed.
To stay in the exam room for the entire duration. Leaving the exam is not permitted.
A well-lit room with no light sources behind you.
No smoking or vaping during the exam.
Drinks must be in a clear, screw-top bottle with labels removed. No mugs are permitted.
Appropriate clothing (as if in public). Offensive or inappropriate attire is not permitted.
A clear desk, free from books, phones, and tablets (except permitted materials for the Case Study exam). We recommend leaving all electronic devices outside the room.

Multiple Choice

No additional materials are permitted.
Please note: physical calculators, pen, and paper are no longer allowed. Only the electronic note pad and calculator provided on-screen may be used.

Case Study

This is an open-book exam. You may have your manual and any other reference books.
Loose papers, blank sheets, and notebooks are not allowed. If you wish to use printed materials, please hole-punch and add them to your manual or place them in a small ring binder.
A basic non-programmable calculator.
A dictionary in your mother tongue, if required.

Technical Notes

The system is not compatible with iPads or mobile phones. You must use a desktop or laptop.
A few days before your exam, you will receive an email from the exam board asking you to complete system checks. These must be completed by midday, Thursday. Your exam links will not be issued until checks are completed.
