ADR training is completed online before your exam date. You attend this venue in person for your ADR examinations only, on the final day of your course. Full confirmation, including course details, structure and instructions on how to attend online, will be sent once you book.

How to find us
By car
Ellesmere Port is served directly by the M53 and A41. Stanney Lane runs between the town centre and Whitby, close to Ellesmere Port Hospital, and the Army Reserve Centre is on Stanney Lane.
- From Chester: take the A41 or M53 north towards Ellesmere Port; from M53 Junction 9 follow signs for the town centre and then Stanney Lane.
- From the Wirral and Liverpool: follow the M53 south to Junction 9 and head into the town, or use the A41 New Chester Road.
- From Runcorn and Warrington: take the M56 west to its end, joining the M53 at Junction 11 for Ellesmere Port, then follow town centre signs to Stanney Lane.
By rail
Ellesmere Port station is on the Merseyrail Wirral line, with trains to Hooton for connections towards Chester and Liverpool, and is around a mile from the venue – a walk or short taxi ride. Chester station offers a wider range of services if you are travelling from further afield. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
By bus
Regular buses connect Ellesmere Port with Chester, the Wirral and surrounding towns. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the local operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
