Enterprise Transport Training runs ADR courses for drivers across Glasgow and the west of Scotland. Your ADR training is delivered online over Zoom, and you then attend our Glasgow centre in person to sit your ADR examinations on the final day, with results available instantly after each exam.
The Glasgow centre is located in Bridgeton in the city’s East End, close to the M74 and the city centre, and is easily accessible for drivers based in Glasgow, Paisley, Motherwell, Stirling and the wider west of Scotland. As the course training is completed online, you only need to travel to Glasgow for one day to complete your practical demonstrations and ADR examinations, making the centre a practical option for drivers travelling from further afield.

ADR training is completed online before your exam date. You attend this venue in person for your ADR examinations only, on the final day of your course. Full confirmation, including course details, structure and instructions on how to attend online, will be sent once you book.

How to find us
By car
Bridgeton is in Glasgow’s East End, just east of the city centre. Brook Street runs between London Road and Glasgow Green, close to Bridgeton Cross.
- From the M8 and city centre: leave the motorway for the city centre and follow London Road (A74) east towards Bridgeton Cross; Brook Street is off London Road close to the Cross.
- From the M74: leave at Junction 1A and follow signs for the East End and Dalmarnock, heading north towards Bridgeton Cross and London Road.
- From Edinburgh and the east: take the M8 west into Glasgow and exit for the East End/London Road, following the A74 to Bridgeton.
By rail
Bridgeton station, on Glasgow’s low-level Argyle line, is a short walk from Brook Street, with frequent trains through Glasgow Central Low Level. Dalmarnock station is also close by. From Glasgow Central or Queen Street, the venue is a few minutes by train or taxi. Check ScotRail for the latest timetables before travelling.
By bus
First Glasgow and other operators run frequent services along London Road and through Bridgeton Cross. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline Scotland before travelling on your exam day.
By air
Glasgow Airport is around ten miles west of the venue via the M8, with the Glasgow Airport Express bus and taxis linking it to the city centre in around 25 minutes; the venue is then a short train, bus or taxi ride to Bridgeton. Edinburgh Airport is also reachable via the M8. If you are flying in for your exams, allow generous connection time on the morning.

What should I bring to my ADR exam in Glasgow?
You are required to bring your ID (Driving Licence, ADR Licence, DQC or Passport). You also need to bring your registration form with an attached photograph and the worksheets completed during the course.
What if I cannot find a suitable course date at Glasgow?
