In addition to ‘self-study’ courses, we offer ‘intensive’ 8-day courses where the course is delivered across 2 weeks and ‘relaxed’ 8-day courses where the training is delivered across a 4-week period.

The ‘intensive’ online and in-centre courses consist of 4 days a week for 2 weeks, finishing the day before the exams.

The ‘relaxed’ online courses consist of 2 days a week for 4 weeks finishing on either the Wednesday or Thursday before the Friday exams.

The ‘split exams’ courses leading to the April, July, and October Road Haulage Online Case Study examinations allow candidates a 2-week gap before taking the Online Multiple Choice examination.

The two examinations test completely different skills and require different study preparation. The Case Study is ‘open book’ and tests the application of skills and knowledge to a given scenario. The Multiple Choice tests the ability to remember facts.

Many candidates find splitting the exam dates beneficial. Whether you choose ‘self-study’, ‘online’, or ‘in-classroom’, this is an option for all our course types. Examinations can be taken in either order.

Road Haulage courses are held at Colchester, Glasgow, Gloucester, Doncaster, Leeds, Maidstone, Stockport, Warrington, and West Bromwich. Passenger courses are held at Stockport and West Bromwich.
