LGV Refresher Training
Hold the category on your licence but been away from the wheel? Our refresher training rebuilds your skills and confidence — for drivers of all classes — focusing on exactly the areas you feel least sure about.
Time off, a career break or a change of role can leave even experienced drivers feeling rusty — that’s completely normal. Refresher training isn’t about requalifying; it’s about sharpening the skills you already have, ironing out any bad habits and getting your confidence back under expert guidance.
Tailored to you
We focus the time on the skills you want to work on, not a fixed syllabus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is refresher training the same as requalifying?
No. It’s for drivers who already hold the licence category and want to refresh their skills and confidence — not retake the full qualification.
Which vehicle classes do you cover?
All classes. Tell us what you hold and what you’d like to work on and we’ll tailor the training.
How long will I need?
Training is delivered in four-hour blocks. How many you need depends on how long you’ve been away and the areas you want to focus on — we’ll advise after a chat.
I’m returning to HGV work after years away — what else do I need?
Your licence must be valid and, for professional driving, your Driver CPC up to date. We can point you in the right direction and help with Driver CPC — just contact us.
Can training be arranged to suit us?
Yes. Contact us with your requirements and we’ll discuss how best to deliver it.
