Driving Assessments & Reports
An independent, documented view of how your drivers actually perform — for recruitment, fleet risk management and training-needs planning. Our instructors assess driving ability and safe driving procedures, then give you a clear written report.
Whether you’re screening a new recruit, checking a driver new to UK roads, following up a concern or reviewing your existing team, an assessment gives you evidence to base recruitment, training and risk decisions on. An assessment isn’t training and isn’t a simple pass or fail — where concerns are found, we set out clear recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an assessment the same as a driving test or training?
No. It’s an independent evaluation of ability and safe driving. It isn’t automatically a pass or fail, and where concerns are identified we recommend the next steps.
What kinds of driver can you assess?
HGV/LGV and company drivers — pre-employment candidates, existing fleet drivers, newly qualified drivers, drivers new to the UK, and drivers being reviewed after an incident.
Whose vehicle is used?
Typically a suitable vehicle representative of your operation, which must be roadworthy and appropriately insured. We’ll agree the arrangements with you when booking.
Will we get a written report?
Yes — a written report covering findings and recommendations that you can add to recruitment or CPD records.
How does this reduce our risk?
It gives you objective evidence of competence and targeted recommendations — helping to reduce accidents and encourage safe, fuel-efficient driving across your fleet.
