What’s the difference between a banksman and a traffic marshal?
They’re the same role under different names — construction sites tend to say ‘banksman’, while warehousing and logistics often say ‘traffic marshal’. The training covers the role whichever term your workplace uses.

Do delegates receive certification?
Yes — successful candidates receive a certificate on completion.
How often should banksman training be refreshed?
Many operators refresh around every three years as good practice. It’s also wise after a near miss or accident, when new vehicles or plant are introduced, or after significant changes to your site’s traffic management.
