Our Bristol centre is Abbots Leigh Village Hall, just off the A369 on the western edge of Bristol, ideal for candidates from Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare and across North Somerset. Classroom courses are not run here: you study by our live online courses or by self-study, and attend Bristol in person only to sit your Transport Manager CPC examinations. By road: On the A369; M5 Junction 19 is a short drive away.

By rail: Bristol Temple Meads station, around four miles away, then a taxi across the city.

By bus: Buses run along the A369 between Bristol and Portishead, stopping in Abbots Leigh.

By car

Abbots Leigh is on the A369 between Bristol and Portishead, with straightforward access from the city and from M5 Junction 19. The village hall is on Church Road in the centre of the village.

  • From Bristol: take Brunel Way (A3029) over the Cumberland Basin and join the A369 towards Portishead; Abbots Leigh is the first village you reach.
  • From the M5: leave at Junction 19 and follow the A369 towards Bristol; Abbots Leigh is a few minutes along the A369.
  • From Bath and Keynsham: follow the A4 through Bristol towards the Cumberland Basin, then pick up the A369 Portishead road out of the city.

By rail & bus

There is no railway station in Abbots Leigh itself. Bristol Temple Meads is the nearest major station, with frequent long-distance and local services, and the venue is then a taxi ride of around four miles across the city. Check the latest timetables on National Rail and allow plenty of time to cross Bristol.

Bus services run along the A369 between Bristol and Portishead, stopping in Abbots Leigh. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the local operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
