Our Southampton centre is easily accessible for drivers across Southampton, Portsmouth and Hampshire. Your ADR training is completed online over Zoom, so you only need to travel to the Southampton centre for one day — the final day of your course — to complete your practical demonstrations and sit your ADR examinations. Full confirmation, including course details, structure and instructions on how to attend online, will be sent once you book.

By car
Townhill Park is in the north-east of Southampton, between the A335 and the M27. Wessex Road is at the Townhill Farm district centre.
- From the M27: leave at Junction 5 (Southampton Airport) and follow the A335 towards Swaythling, then local signs east into Townhill Park and Wessex Road.
- From Southampton city centre: head north-east on the A3024 Bursledon Road/Bitterne corridor or through Bitterne Park, following signs for Townhill Park.
- From Portsmouth and Fareham: take the M27 west to Junction 5 and follow the route above via Swaythling.
By rail & bus
Swaythling station is around a mile away, with local services between Southampton Central and Eastleigh, and Southampton Airport Parkway – one stop away – adds fast London and CrossCountry connections. From either, the venue is a short taxi ride into Townhill Park. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
City buses serve Townhill Park and the surrounding estates from Southampton centre. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
