Enterprise Transport Training runs ADR courses for drivers across Luton, Dunstable and Bedfordshire. Your ADR training is delivered online over Zoom, and you then attend our Luton centre in person to sit your ADR examinations on the final day, with results available instantly after each exam.
The Luton centre is located in Whipsnade, on the Dunstable Downs a short drive from Luton and Dunstable, and is easily accessible for drivers based in Luton, Dunstable, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, St Albans and the surrounding Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area. As the course training is completed online, you only need to travel to Luton for one day to complete your practical demonstrations and ADR examinations, making the centre a practical option for drivers travelling from further afield.

ADR training is completed online before your exam date. You attend this venue in person for your ADR examinations only, on the final day of your course. Full confirmation, including course details, structure and instructions on how to attend online, will be sent once you book.

How to find us
By car
Whipsnade is on the Dunstable Downs above Dunstable, adjacent to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. The signed routes for the zoo lead to the village, and the village hall is at Hall Green, just beyond the zoo entrance.
- From Luton and Dunstable: head through Dunstable onto the B489, then climb the B4541 across the Dunstable Downs, following zoo signs to Whipsnade village.
- From the M1: leave at Junction 9 for the A5 towards Dunstable, then follow the signs for ZSL Whipsnade Zoo via the B4540/B4541 up to the village.
- From Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury: approach on the A4146 or B440 towards Dagnall, then take the B4506/B4540 up to Whipsnade, following zoo signs.
By rail
Luton station, on the Thameslink and EMR lines, is around seven miles away, with frequent trains from London, Bedford and St Albans; Luton Airport Parkway is similar. From either station the venue is a taxi ride up onto the Downs, so allow good time on exam morning. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
By bus
Bus services to Whipsnade itself are very limited. Most candidates drive or take a taxi from Luton or Dunstable, so please plan ahead and check Traveline if you intend to rely on public transport.
