Where you’ll sit your exams

Our Dartford centre is easily accessible for drivers across Dartford, Gravesend and north Kent. Your ADR training is completed online over Zoom, so you only need to travel to the Dartford centre for one day — the final day of your course — to complete your practical demonstrations and sit your ADR examinations. By road: Off the A226 London Road, close to the A2 and the M25 Dartford Crossing

By rail: Stone Crossing station, within walking distance, on the Dartford to Gravesend line

By bus: Fastrack and local buses link Dartford, Greenhithe and Gravesend along this corridor

By car

Stone is between the A2 and the River Thames, immediately west of Greenhithe. Cotton Lane runs off the A226 London Road through Stone, and Gantry Place is off Cotton Lane.

From Dartford: follow the A226 London Road east through Stone towards Greenhithe and turn onto Cotton Lane; Gantry Place is off Cotton Lane.
From the M25 and Essex: cross the QEII Bridge southbound, keep left for the A226 towards Dartford/Greenhithe, and follow it to Stone before turning into Cotton Lane.
From Gravesend: take the A226 west through Swanscombe and Greenhithe, turning onto Cotton Lane as you enter Stone.

By rail & bus

Stone Crossing station, on the Southeastern line between Dartford and Gravesend, is within walking distance of the venue, and Greenhithe for Bluewater is one stop away. Both connect to London and the north Kent coast. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling and allow time for the walk.

What time do I have to arrive at the Dartford centre?

Please arrive at the Dartford centre by 09:15am on your exam day. You will first complete the practical demonstrations, including chest compressions and handling a fire extinguisher, shortly followed by sitting your ADR exams.

Do I attend the Dartford centre for the whole ADR course?

No. Your ADR training is delivered online over Zoom. You only attend the Dartford centre in person to complete your practical demonstrations and sit your ADR examinations on the final day of the course, with results available instantly after each exam.

What should I bring to my ADR exam in Dartford?
