Your ADR training is completed online over Zoom, so you only need to travel to the Doncaster centre for one day — the final day of your course — to complete your practical demonstrations and sit your ADR examinations. By car
Sprotbrough lies between Doncaster town centre and the A1(M). The venue is on Sprotbrough Road, the main road between the town and Sprotbrough village.
- From Doncaster town centre: head north-west on York Road (A638) and turn onto Sprotbrough Road, following it towards Sprotbrough village.
- From the A1(M): leave at Junction 37 and follow the A635 towards Doncaster, joining Sprotbrough Road for the venue.
- From Rotherham and Sheffield: take the A630 towards Doncaster, then follow signs for Sprotbrough.
By rail & bus
Doncaster station, on the East Coast Main Line, is around two miles away, with fast LNER services from London, Leeds, York and Edinburgh plus extensive local connections. From the station the venue is a short taxi or bus ride along the A638 corridor. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
First and other local operators run services between Doncaster town centre and Sprotbrough. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
