Your ADR training is delivered online over Zoom, and you then attend our Sheffield centre in person to sit your ADR examinations on the final day, with results available instantly after each exam.

As the course training is completed online, you only need to travel to Sheffield for one day to complete your practical demonstrations and ADR examinations, making the centre a practical option for drivers travelling from further afield.

How to find us
By car
Dronfield is on the A61 between Sheffield and Chesterfield. The Peel Centre is on the High Street in the old town centre, near the parish church.
- From Sheffield: take the A61 south towards Chesterfield and leave at the Dronfield exits, dropping into the town centre for the High Street.
- From Chesterfield: head north on the A61 dual carriageway and exit for Dronfield, following signs to the town centre.
- From the M1: leave at Junction 29 or 33 and follow the A617/A61 or Sheffield ring towards Dronfield on the A61 corridor.
By rail
Dronfield station is a short walk from the High Street, on the line between Sheffield and Chesterfield/Nottingham, though services are limited, so check times carefully. Sheffield and Chesterfield stations offer far more frequent trains, each around fifteen minutes away by road. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
By bus
Frequent buses run along the A61 between Sheffield, Dronfield and Chesterfield. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
