Our Northampton centre is easily accessible for drivers across Northampton and Northamptonshire. Your ADR training is completed online over Zoom, so you only need to travel to the Northampton centre for one day — the final day of your course — to complete your practical demonstrations and sit your ADR examinations. By car

Bugbrooke is a village south-west of Northampton, close to M1 Junction 15 and the A45. Bugbrooke Sports and Community Centre is on Camp Close, in the village.

  • From Northampton: head south-west out of town towards Rothersthorpe and Kislingbury, following signs for Bugbrooke.
  • From the M1: leave at Junction 15 and follow signs towards Northampton before turning off for Bugbrooke.
  • From Daventry and Towcester: approach via the A45 or A5, following local roads into Bugbrooke.

By rail & bus

Northampton station, on the West Coast Main Line’s Northampton loop, is around seven miles away, with London Northwestern services from London Euston, Milton Keynes and Birmingham. From the station the venue is a short taxi ride south-west to Bugbrooke. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.

Local buses run between Northampton and Daventry, calling at villages including Bugbrooke along the way. Services are limited, so please check Traveline before relying on the bus on exam day.

Parking: There is a large free car park on site at Bugbrooke Sports and Community Centre, with space for up to 70 vehicles.

Please arrive by 08:15am on exam day and bring your ID, registration form with photograph attached, and completed course worksheets.
