Enterprise Transport Training runs ADR courses for drivers across Maidstone, Medway and Kent. Your ADR training is delivered online over Zoom, and you then attend our Maidstone centre in person to sit your ADR examinations on the final day, with results available instantly after each exam.

As the course training is completed online, you only need to travel to Maidstone for one day to complete your practical demonstrations and ADR examinations, making the centre a practical option for drivers travelling from further afield.

ADR training is completed online before your exam date. You attend this venue in person for your ADR examinations only, on the final day of your course. Full confirmation, including course details, structure and instructions on how to attend online, will be sent once you book.

How to find us
By car
The Kent Showground is directly beside the A249 at Detling, between Maidstone and Sittingbourne. Once inside the showground, head for Alan Day House, the building closest to the car park.
- From Maidstone: take the A249 Sittingbourne Road north out of town, climbing Detling Hill; the showground entrance is signed on the right at Detling.
- From the M20: leave at Junction 7 and join the A249 towards Sittingbourne, reaching the showground near the top of Detling Hill.
- From Sittingbourne and Medway: take the A249 south towards Maidstone; the showground is signed on the left at Detling.
By rail
Maidstone East station is around three miles away, with Southeastern services from London Victoria and Ashford, and Bearsted station is slightly closer on the same line. From either station the venue is a short taxi ride up the A249 to Detling. Check the latest timetables on National Rail before travelling.
By bus
Buses run along the A249 corridor between Maidstone and Sittingbourne, passing Detling. Routes and frequencies change, so please check Traveline or the operator’s timetable before travelling on your exam day.
