About the course

What is ADR Awareness training?

Under the ADR regulations (the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), everyone involved in transporting dangerous goods must be trained for their role. This training makes sure everyone in the supply chain understands the regulations, the risks and the correct procedures — helping your company meet its legal obligations and reduce the risk of accidents and incidents.

For drivers

If the loads you carry fall within scope, drivers need full ADR training. If your loads are out of scope through Limited Quantity or Small Load exemptions, drivers need ADR Awareness training instead.

For other personnel

ADR Awareness is a legal requirement for all staff involved in moving dangerous goods — including packing, loading, unloading and documentation. That covers warehouse teams and office staff, not just drivers.
